Jay McKenna, MD

Dr. McKenna completed medical school at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland and he retired from the United States Army in 2017 as a Lieutenant Colonel. Among various positions throughout his 27 years of service, he served in the Special Operations community both as enlisted and as a Battalion Surgeon. As the owner operator of Freedom Urgent Care, Dr. McKenna has an in depth understanding of the urgent care industry coupled with the comprehensive experience necessary to effectively bring urgent care medicine to our community.

Sweena Florian, Regional Administrator

With over 25 years of experience in the medical field, Sweena Florian brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her role as Regional Administrator at Freedom Urgent Care. Having dedicated 13 years to the company, Sweena’s journey began as a Lead Customer Service Representative. Her dedication and commitment led her to advance through various positions, culminating in her current role as Regional Administrator where she oversees operations and ensures the highest standards of care.

Sweena holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Her extensive background and hands-on experience have been instrumental in shaping the success and efficiency of Freedom Urgent Care.

Outside of her professional life, Sweena treasures her role as a grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren—three girls and one boy. Her passion for family is a driving force in her life, enriching her work with a unique perspective and dedication.

Victor Anda, Lead Advanced Practice Physician Assistant

Victor Anda, a resident of Harker Heights, Texas, is a dedicated and experienced physician assistant, serving as the advanced practice provider for Freedom Urgent Care. With a focus on family medicine, trauma, and urgent care, Victor brings a wealth of expertise and compassion to his practice.

He earned his Bachelor of Science and completed his master’s studies in physician assistant studies at the University of Nebraska, where he honed his skills and knowledge in providing high-quality medical care. Prior to his current role, Victor excelled as a group practice manager at the Carl Darnell Medical Center and also served as a deputy surgeon for the Area Support Group in Kuwait. Victor’s diverse background, combined with his commitment to patient care, positions him as a valuable asset in the healthcare field, ensuring that individuals receive the best possible care during their time of need.
